About

I help people navigate change with more clarity and less friction.

I'm a group facilitator, mediator, organizational consultant, and leadership development specialist. Over more than ten years, I've led hundreds of workshops for kids, teenagers, parents, managers, educators, and school leadership, working from the same core belief: that people navigate change best when they understand their own values, can communicate honestly under pressure, and have real tools rather than vague advice.

Roi Edelstein

Background

I hold a BA in Social Behavior and an MA in Conflict Resolution, along with a Group Facilitation certificate and a Mediation certificate with practicum experience.

Over more than ten years, I've led workshops for children, teenagers, parents, educational managers, teachers, school principals, soldiers, commanders, and youth movement guides. That range is deliberate: the same underlying skills of communication, conflict management, and self-awareness show up whether the room is a boardroom or a bunk of thirteen-year-olds.

Areas of expertise:

  • Risk-behavior prevention: helping organizations, families, and individuals promote behaviors that align with their core values, and reduce actions that risk undermining them.
  • Change management: helping teams and organizations lead and absorb change without losing cohesion.
  • Communication & relationship-building: between managers and staff, between parents and teens, between colleagues in conflict.
  • Cross-system collaboration: building working relationships between parents, schools, communities, and education systems.

Approach

I believe in deep listening, respect as a guiding principle, and empowering people to choose their own path to grow. I'm not interested in handing people a script. I'm interested in helping them get honest about what's actually happening, and build the values-based, practical compass that helps them choose, cope, and grow, whether they're teens, individuals, educators, managers, leaders, or organizations.

In practice, that means:

  • Re-observing the challenge honestly: without judgment, but without avoiding what's uncomfortable either.
  • Choosing change deliberately: believing it's both possible and realistic, not just a slogan.
  • Building real capability: knowledge, practiced skills, and the right people around you, not just motivation.

Work happens in whatever format actually fits: standalone workshops, multi-session programs, ongoing consulting, or one-on-one mentoring. In person in the Boston area, or by video call from anywhere.
