Self-awareness: an honest look at strengths, weaknesses, and automatic patterns, including which ones help and which get in the way.

Parent-Teen Communication

For parents of teens, and teens navigating adolescence. Programs and workshops that help families recalibrate how they talk to each other, especially during major transitions, when the old communication style stops working and nobody's quite updated it yet.

6-session series · grades 8 through young adulthood

The Connection Compass

A modular workshop series for parents and teens, built around the moments that put the most strain on family communication.

Facing Changes: understanding what's actually happening for the teen and for the parent during a transition, and building shared language for it.
Our Family Compass: mapping the values that guide the family's decisions, and how personal identity aligns with family identity.
The Communication Upgrade: moving from managing to mentoring; replacing nagging, shut-downs, and lecturing with active listening.
Resilience & the Emotional Toolkit: emotional regulation, conflict management, and a concrete plan for when a transition feels overwhelming.
Specialized Tracks: families choose the track that fits their stage. The Bridge (moving to high school), The Launch (leaving for college or a gap year), or The Shift (family structure changes).
The Covenant of Connection: closing with a shared ceremony and a concrete communication commitment for the year ahead.

College-bound teens

Home & Away: The College Transition

A guided journey for teens transitioning to college and their parents, focused on self-efficacy, adaptability, and real capability before the leap.

Topics: self-identity, independence, social life and decision-making, risk behavior and protective factors, relationship with parents, conflict resolution and emotion regulation.
Format: candidate interviews, a group of 12–18 teens, weekly sessions (workshops, outdoor activities, simulations, case studies), joint sessions for teens and parents, and individual mentoring throughout.
